We try to ensure that orders are despatched the same day, for next day delivery, subject to when the order is placed. At busy times it may take 2/3 working days. You may be able to collect urgent fabric the same day from our London showroom or Dartford headquarters.

If you have a UK VAT or equivalent national tax number e.g  TVA (France), IVA (Portugal), MWSt (Germany) there will not be any additional charges above the cost of the fabric, apart from delivery, which is notified on your invoice. Standard delivery service is within approximately 5 days. Express delivery is available for the most urgent orders.

Yes, we offer 5 swatches free of charge, including delivery by Royal Mail. Additional swatches are charged at 75p plus VAT, including delivery.

We get asked this question a lot – silk is a particularly sustainable and eco-friendly fabric; it is a natural protein fibre, produced by silkworms and is biodegradable.

The recommended care instruction for all silk fabrics is DRY CLEAN ONLY. Some dyed silks may be able to be handwashed at owner’s risk.

The figure we quote online and on our price list is the approximate full width – from fabric edge to fabric edge; the usable fabric area is generally the width between the inside of the selvedge on both sides. Usable width could, therefore, be approximately 5cm less. There may also be visible stenter (pin) marks created where a fabric has been held tight from edge top to edge during the drying process after washing or dyeing; this area is also unusable. Widths do vary from fabric to fabric and piece to piece.

Yes, however, minimum quantities are 100/150m. Initial samples generally take 2-3 weeks and bulk delivery between 3-6 weeks, depending on where we source the fabric – Europe or Asia. However, we work with our long-standing suppliers to reduce lead times for urgent orders.
