Pongees is supporting award-winning textile artist Vicky Price for a project to highlight domestic abuse. Vicky will be printing our heavy crepe back satin in natural for one of five cloaks that are central to the “Story Veils: Unheard Female Voices of Domestic Abuse” project.
The cloaks will be photographed on five women from Greater Manchester whose voices are being heard. The British Textile Biennale has match-funded the project and will include the cloaks in its national exhibition in 2027.
