Taffeta is best known for the soft rustling sound it makes when handled. This fabric, with its shiny, lustrous appearance, is offered in a variety of weights. At 130gsm this is our heavy taffeta; we also have lighter versions at 71 and 93gsm. Taffeta is frequently sourced for ball gowns, wedding dresses, corsets, skirts, jackets and ties, as well as, curtains, wall hangings and cushions.
